    local insights
    freezing shower
    ineffective radiator

The hosts provided charming local insights during our stay.

Unfortunately, my experience at The Clachan B&B was marred by several issues. The shower was consistently freezing cold, and despite following the hosts' instructions, I couldn't enjoy a warm shower after a long day of travel. the room temperature was uncomfortable as the radiator didn't seem to work effectively, leaving the space quite chilly throughout the night.

Family with children would love it

Lydia and Graeme really know how to treat guests! The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We parked right outside, which was super convenient. Breakfast was out of this world, especially the haggis! I even got a local tip from Graeme that made our day a lot better. The whole vibe was warm and welcoming.

It costs a pretty penny, but still acceptable.

    clean room
    helpful hosts
    no hot breakfast
    street noise
    limited dining options

The location allows easy access to local amenities. The room was both spacious and immaculate, providing a cozy retreat. Helpful hosts offered insightful suggestions for dining, enhancing the overall experience. On the downside, the absence of a hot breakfast option was disappointing, and the street noise was occasionally disruptive, detracting from the overall comfort.
